Our ultimate goal is the development of a public interpretive center that would present the story of the prehistoric mounds builders.

Accomplishments:
- Clearing the mounds and developing trails
- Development of the main entrance parking area, including restrooms, picnic shelter, landscaping and information kiosk
- Development of informational brocures
- Design and installation of interpretive signs

The purpose of the Foundation is to assist the state of Illinois historic preservation agency with the preservation and interpretation of the Albany Mounds State historic Site
